uff... after my first failed attempts of any serious comment... let me try in once more O:

I... really love this piece of work (not only because Clay is featured), but it's so... beautiful looking ;v; From the general style in which you drew the characters over to the background and finally the shading - you did a marvellous job on this I must say.

Getting a bit more detailled all together: I really think anthro style somehow suits Mao and Clay (even if I'm still in favor of Sonic-styled anatomy). These long legs ♥ That way Mao's trousers and Clays socks turn out so great - and with them the shading. In general you did a wonderful job on the clothes - it looks great all together. My favourite part anyhow are their heads ;v; With that shiny hair and those big eyes ♥♥♥

And this leads to the coloring oOo The way you used the soft shading on this - in addition with warm colors (mainly noticed that on the white shading, where you used a warm-reddish gray instead of a normal, cold gray and Mao's awesome hair) maked the whole picture look so warm and comfortable. You also burned it nicely, giving the picture more depth all in all ovo

Last but not least - the background. Really fitting I must say, and I fell in love with the little details like the pattern on the bowls, the menu cards and so on. I could imagine that their restaurant looks like this, hehe :3 (And I want one of these lanterns, now >:C)

All together... thank you for this awesome piece of work. It surely must've been plenty of work, but you did great on it ;A; ♥
